Jupiter underwent a rebranding to Jupico in 2023. For tax reporting purposes (1099K), all payments processed before the rebranding (prior to September 1st, 2023) will be reported by World Pay (under Processing Strategy, LLC), while all transactions processed after that will be reported by Jupico.
The amount displayed on your 1099K is the gross amount. Your Jupico account must fulfill the following conditions during the previous calendar year to be eligible for a 1099-K:
It is based in the United States (owners do not need to be US citizens); if it's a non-US account, it must belong to a US taxpayer.
It must have recorded $20,000 USD in sales and processed at least 200 transactions throughout the calendar year.
The 1099-K is an informational document that summarizes your account's sales activity. Its purpose is to assist you in reporting your payment card transactions and is shared with you, the IRS, and select US states.
If you believe you should have received one and did not please let us know at support@jupico.com.
